The small streets around Boccadesse streets are a little maze of history and just plain quaintness. You can follow these little streets along the seaside all the way to Nervi. You won’t be disappointed by the sea views and beaches all the way down.

Boccadasse is also characterized by its church named after Saint Anthony of Padua. The church faces on the east side Corso Italia and on the west side the panoramic square dedicated to the Genoese poet Edoardo Firpo.

Since 1930 Gelateria Carla has been offering their original gelato recipes. I have had a mind blowing experience here with their pistachio ice cream.
