Ostaia do Richetto
Hidden away atop a mountain in Parco delle Mura is this charming little street-side restaurant. Ostaia do Richetto is steeped in history, having been here since 1890. They offer delightful dishes such as fresh pasta, meat, and fish.
To reach this gem, you must take the Funicolare Zecca-Righi and stop at the last station, Righi. From there, it's a pleasant uphill walk of about 15 minutes. However, the breathtaking views along the way make it worthwhile. It's a perfect escape from the bustling and crowded streets of Genoa.
I highly recommend making a reservation.

La Forneria
La Forneria is a typical Italian bakery with the most incredible focaccias I had while in Genoa. They also have pizzas, breads and pasteries. This is for takeaway only, so a great stop before heading out on a walk or planning a picnic.
Open everyday from 7:00 to 19:30 except Sundays -
Il Trofiaio
Located on Piazza Colombo is the caterer and restaurant, Il Trofiaio, that you simply cannot overlook. They offer incredible handmade pasta and sauces that you can either take away or enjoy in the mezzanine restaurant. It's remarkably affordable and immensely popular. There's almost always a queue to get in, but it's definitely worth the wait. They have two separate lines outside—one for takeaways and the other for dining tables—so ensure you're in the correct queue. If you're there for catering services, don’t forget to grab a number.
