During our Croatian holiday in August 2023, we had two delightful meals at Obala restaurant. Located on the beautiful island of Lopud, this restaurant has always had a stellar reputation, and our return after four years only reinforced its charm.
When we walked into Obala Lopud, we were welcomed with open arms and friendly faces. The service was top-notch, and the staff made us feel right at home.
Our evening unfolded with a parade of dishes that truly embodied the essence of Adriatic cuisine. We kicked things off with a zucchini carpaccio. Those thinly sliced zucchinis, dressed in a medley of flavors, were the perfect appetizer.
As for our main courses, they were nothing short of spectacular. The seafood risotto stole the show, loaded with juicy shrimp, tender squid, and delectable fish. It was like a taste of the sea on a plate, and we couldn't get enough.
